Implementation: Strategies for Sentence-Level Instruction (1 CEU Clock Hour)

This self-paced, 1-hour lesson provides educators with strategies for teaching sentence structure and coherence. Participants will learn how to guide students in recognizing how phrases and clauses form meaningful sentences, and how cohesive ties and connectives link ideas within and across sentences. The lesson includes practical classroom activities such as sentence combining, expansion, and coding cohesive devices to strengthen comprehension and writing.
