Implementation: Phonological Awareness (1 CEU Clock Hour)

This self-paced, 1-hour lesson builds an understanding of the instructional practices that strengthen phonological awareness in the classroom. You’ll learn why phonological awareness matters, explore the developmental continuum of skills, and gain access to evidence-based strategies that develop phonological awareness. The lesson includes demonstrations of activities such as syllable segmentation and onset-rime blending, along with guidance on inclusive practices for linguistically diverse student populations.
